Summary/Objective:  

Gellert Global Group consists of many of the leading North American food importing companies (Atalanta Corporation, Camerican International, Finica, Tipico Cheese Products) and has been involved in importing food products for over 100 years. The combined revenues of GGG exceed $1.7 billion. GGG companies provide strength in sourcing, insurance, finance, logistics, food safety and information technology, and supplies the needs of retailers, distributors, foodservice chains, hotels, cruise lines, and food manufacturers alike.   

Essential Functions: 

  • Coordinate the recruiting process including: 

  • Schedule interview recruiting strategy meetings 

  • Schedule and coordinate phone, video and on-site interviews with hiring leaders and other interviewers. 

  • Provide candidates with detailed communication for all scheduled interviews. 

  • Keep accurate candidate tracking data, update and manage documents within applicant tracking system 

  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow-up and constant communication through the candidate lifecycle. 

  • Collaborate with appropriate internal stakeholders to provide a seamless candidate experience. 

  • Coordinate new hire process 

  • Prepare, review, and save all new hire paperwork in electronic employee file 

  • Set up and execute HR & IT Orientation for new hires 

  • Enter new hire information into HRIS system (ADP) and other systems as needed 

  • Verify I-9 documentation through E-Verify 

  • Research best practices for intern programs; coordinate program with internal business partners 

  • Development and upkeep of electronic files 

  • Coordinate and setting-up company events including training classes and meetings 

  • Participate in company initiative meetings & events 

  • Manage and distribute monthly birthday lists, anniversary cards and awards 

  • Research, document, and maintain human resources SOPs & training manuals 

  • Manage GGG HR calendar of events for the organization. 

  • Other duties assigned as needed. 


Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • Zero to three years of human resource experience depending on education 

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  

  • Good organizational skills and sense of urgency required  

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
