DaVita is looking for a Dialysis Patient Care Technician to serve our patients at our State Fair clinic (Woodward Avenue/8 mile)

No previous healthcare experience required - Paid Dialysis Training provided!

What does the PCT role entail? Rotating Schedule of 3 to 4 day work weeks, including rotating Saturday’s with Sunday off

• Starting and ending times can range from 3:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Average hours range from 10 to 14 hours a day
• Monitor, educate and provide care for up to 4-6 patients before, during and after dialysis treatment. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.
• Support your community and build relationships by caring for patients local to your town.

What does a successful PCT look like?

• High School Diploma (HSD) or GED
• Comfortable working around blood and needles, mixing acid or bicarb
• Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for other people in need
• Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to work in a fast paced setting as part of a team while managing multiple responsibilities at a time
• Healthcare experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
