PRN POSITION 

WeCare at Avalon Springs Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant for our community in New Castle, PA. Our Physical Therapist Assistant helps residents improve their mobility and move forward.

Key Responsibilities

·      Making modifications to treatments as directed by the physical therapist to help the patient progress or to ensure patient safety and comfort.·      Preparing patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans as instructed, including exercise, stretching, applying modalities, and functional mobility training.·      Recording patient's reaction to treatment and providing status reports at the end of each treatment.·      Using assistive devices and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

·      Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.·      Current State PTA License.·      Outpatient experience is preferred.
