Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Location: Physician Care NWPosition: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Job Type: Full-time (35-40 hours per week) Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 DOE per hour Medical specialties: Primary Care/Family Practice Schedule: varies Monday through Friday
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant CMA to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred), Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Perform vitals

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an MA
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced Medical Assistant to perform clinical back office duties to include: patient intake for electronic medical record, triage, injections, chronic care management and medication refills as appropriate.
• Prefer previous electronic health record experience and be proficient in navigating, typing, medical terminology and medications.
