About the role
We are currently recruiting a Senior Analyst to support success across Aledade’s Medicare Advantage value-based contracts. Under the direction of the Manager of Medicare Advantage Financial Performance, this Senior Analyst will analyze financial performance in Aledade’s Medicare Advantage value-based contracts by performing complex quantitative analysis on health care cost, utilization and risk adjustment data. In addition, this Senior Analyst will perform analysis and modeling to support negotiations with payer partners and strategize on ACO performance improvements for field teams.

Responsibilities:
- Support Medicare Advantage financial performance through financial modeling, reporting, and health care utilization analysis.
- Manipulate and navigate reports through SQL to extract complex healthcare information (e.g., drug costs, provider names, pharmacy, etc.).
- Develop financial models to calculate patient costs for various medical things related to the aforementioned healthcare data above.
- Develop and maintain MA financial reporting tools.
- Support performance and field teams on ACO performance and strategize on improvement opportunities.
- Support payer partnership negotiations by modeling performance and creating recommendations for financial terms.
- Facilitate communication amongst key internal and external stakeholders.
- Support preparation for external calls and meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills with 3-5 years experience in healthcare analytics (payer / provider / vendor)
- 3-4 years of Intermediate data manipulation skills (SQL/SAS/R)
- 3-4 years of advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel / Google sheets)
- Ability to create and translate complex analysis to executive presentations for senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 experience in Medicare Advantage economics (bidding, P&L management, policy…)
- Experience with value based care
- Actuarial skills (pricing / forecasting)
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Extensive use of computers and keyboard.
- Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
