The RealSense Group is delivering exciting new RealSense Camera products that will change the way people interact with computers. We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Software Engineer, particularly enabling RealSense products in real advanced applications.

As a System Customer Engineer at Intel, you will be:

• Part of a full cycle, Agile, geographically distributed product enablement team;
• Working with a variety of interesting technologies including 2D and 3D data captured from our new 3D camera, and modules from a number of sources that include but not limited to image processing, pattern recognition, video analytics, computer vision, and facial authentication HW and SW.

You will also deal with:

• Identify if an issue is a firmware, software, or hardware related issue.
• Fix the issue or open Jira to R and D team.
• Validate the fix and deliver it to customers.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Math, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 2+ years working with embedded system from system level (SW + HW)
• 6+ months experience in 2D/3D cameras

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Android/Linux development, debug, and deployment
• Experience in developing efficient automated tests
• A strong background in platform architecture and design, including security and trusted execution
• Familiarity with image sensors
• Familiarity with biometrics products
• Experience with USB, UVC, MIPI protocol
• Experience / knowledge of Digital Signal Processing, Facial Analysis, Gesture Recognition, 3D Depth algorithms
• Experience with customer technical support
• Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to lead when necessary
• Good communication skills
• Good problem solving and decision making skills
• Quick learning skills, ability to handle complex problems related to Software Development
• Discipline, strong sense of responsibility, attention to details

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$92,847.00-$148,355.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
