This <b> 3-month project </b> offers full ownership of backend architecture and the chance to solve complex, high-impact challenges with geospatial data services, cloud infrastructure, and scalable APIs. <b> WHAT YOU WILL DO </b> - Work on a <b> 3-month project </b> ; - Design, build, and maintain robust geospatial APIs (REST, OGC standards) including features like BBOX/filter queries, authentication, pagination, and health/metrics; - Process and publish <b> Cloud Optimized GeoTIFFs </b> (COGs); - Work with spatial databases such as SQL Server Spatial or PostGIS, including performance tuning (spatial indexes, SRIDs, tiling strategies); - Deploy and provision cloud infrastructure, specifically on Azure; - Collaborate on transitioning away from ArcGIS to achieve greater independence and enhanced system control. <b> MUST HAVES </b> - <b> 6+ years </b> of experience with <b> .NET </b> ; - Hands-on experience with geospatial data services and tooling, specifically <b> TiTiler </b> and/or <b> GeoServer </b> for dynamic tile serving; - Proficiency in spatial databases such as <b> SQL Server Spatial </b> or <b> PostGIS </b> , including performance tuning; - Experience designing and maintaining <b> geospatial APIs </b> ; - Strong experience with <b> cloud deployment and provisioning </b> on <b> Azure </b> ; - Upper-intermediate English level. <b> NICE TO HAVES </b> - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, <b> Docker </b> , and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) on Azure; - Experience migrating services <b> away from an Esri/ArcGIS stack </b> (ImageServer, FeatureServer); - Knowledge of open-source basemap providers like <b> OpenMapTiles </b> or Planet OSM. <b> PERKS AND BENEFITS </b> - <b> Professional growth: </b> Accelerate your professional journey with mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmaps. - <b> Competitive compensation: </b> We match your ever-growing skills, talent, and contributions with competitive USD-based compensation and budgets for education, fitness, and team activities. - <b> A selection of exciting projects: </b> Join projects with modern solutions development and top-tier clients that include Fortune 500 enterprises and leading product brands. - <b> Flextime: </b> Tailor your schedule for an optimal work-life balance, by having the options of working from home and going to the office – whatever makes you the happiest and most productive. </span>
