KBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced exciting environment as a Project Analyst to support the Multi Mission Data Link System (MMDLS) located in Lexington Park, MD. This work is with a high op tempo team working on innovative technologies to maintain superiority in support of Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission areas.

Position Description:

This position will support the MMDLS contract using MS Project to work effectively with the team in the following capacities:

• Develop and submit a Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) using Microsoft Project for all installations.
• Support staff meetings, project kickoff meetings and weekly reports – this includes gathering information, updating all meeting documents, and creating Risk Cubes.
• Perform scheduled risk analysis for installations to aid in successful program execution. Support Government Master Schedulers to incorporate POA&Ms into their master schedules.
• Identify and include the sequencing and duration of key events and milestones into the POA&Ms.
• Coordinate with installation leads weekly on their tasks to communicate the status, progress, and future workflows/events to keep the project on track.
• Attend bi-weekly installation status meetings with project manager and government project leads.
• Help identify and incorporate essential interrelationships between work tasks, subtasks and related workstreams, duration of tasks, and their impact on project schedule.
• Help develop and manage data/metrics to support statistical analysis of performance.
• Understand and identify specified and implied tasking and required reports maintaining an overall labor records for each installation.

This position is required to support multiple team members that may include government customers, managers, schedulers, engineers, and other team members to keep projects on task.

Required Experience: 

• 4 years of scheduling experience.
• Ability to manipulate complex MS Project schedules to determine critical and driving paths to major milestone events.
• Ability to leverage a Work Breakdown Structure to Integrate elements of contractor and government schedules to account for all relevant dependencies.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Scheduler Experience in the following software:

• MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Adobe Acrobat.

Required Education: BS Degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Engineering, Science).

Security Clearance Requirement: Secret Security Clearance.
