Job Description

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Research Strategy Lead to execute processes related to the eXploratory Innovation TEams program and to develop deep insights on trends in the innovation ecosystem relevant to Philips Research and the enterprise. You will work with colleagues within and outside of Research to foster a culture of learning and exploration, aiming to deliver cutting-edge technologies and breakthrough innovations that positively impact people's lives.
 

Your role:

• You will support processes for collecting, screening, and selecting projects for eXploratory Innovation TEams program. Additionally, you will manage the portfolio of selected projects, facilitating the setup of back-end processes for billing, project staffing, reporting, and cross-team engagement,

• You will be responsible for documenting and driving continuous improvement of Exploratory Innovation processes. This includes documenting processes for launching a call for proposals, screening applications, conducting awareness sessions, managing the selection process, setting up selected projects, monitoring project progress, and closing out projects upon completion,

• You will drive market analyses on emerging trends, technologies, and market shifts within the innovation landscape to identify relevant insights that inform Research’s strategic direction,

• You will engage with Research teams (Public Private Partnerships, Breakthrough Innovation Teams and Business Ops) to understand their needs, priorities and how the overall strategy applies to each team,

• You will support content development for external communication of Research’s strategic objectives, plans, and status, presenting them clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders within I&S and the BUs,

• You will collaborate with other teams in I&S to advance Research's strategic agenda and assist in delivering special projects assigned by the Head of Research as required.

You're the right fit if:

• You have 2-3 years of experience in a strategy role, preferably with exposure to strategic program management. Experience in healthcare, technology, or research settings is a plus,

• Experience in management consulting is also advantageous,

• You demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency,

• You have strong analytics and quantitative skills,

• You are willing to work in a hybrid environment with colleagues across multiple time zones,

• A bachelor's degree is required, while a graduate degree in Science, Engineering, or Business is preferred.
