Supply Chain Production Planner

Support, coordinate, and manage the supply chain for a select group of parts needed to support Focus Factory Operations and Supply Chain Management.

 

Core Responsibilities:

• Support daily operational activities within the Focus Factory to drive OEE, inventory, and customer targets across 5-15 production lines.
• Coordinate production line schedules between Master Scheduling and the Focus Factory to optimize changeovers and efficiency.
• Maintain physical inventory accuracy for all material types within the Focus Factory, including MRP system maintenance and cycle counting.
• Use various problem-solving techniques (e.g., 5 Why) to address supply chain issues and drive permanent corrective actions (e.g., COGI, BOM, backflush).
• Communicate effectively between SCM and the Focus Factory regarding production planning, material availability, and customer requirements.
• Establish, implement, and maintain material flow standards and improvements within the Focus Factory.
• Fully understand and utilize the MRP system and associated tools (e.g., SAP, Seguin Tools).

 

Basic Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP.
• Expert problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently.
• High degree of integrity and discretion.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
