*Receptionist Job SummaryAs the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and associates, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment. You’ll be the face of our community and all we represent.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome residents, families, and visitors with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Manage the Reception schedule and ensure all shifts are filled.
• Answer incoming calls, transfer calls to appropriate departments, and take messages when necessary.
• Manage and distribute incoming mail and packages.
• Assist residents and their families with general information and inquiries.
• Coordinate appointments and meetings for residents with various community services.
• Perform general clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
• Monitor and control access to the community, ensuring the safety and security of residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a customer service Leadership or role within the veterinary industry is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and Punctuality as the team leader of the front staff.
• Proficient in using basic office equipment and computer applications.
• Empathy and understanding for the needs of senior residents.
• Be compassionate and patient, professional and courteous at all times.
• This position's starting pay is $19.00, but it is based on experience.
