CEPTON, a leading intelligent lidar solution provider, is seeking an Opto-mechanical Alignment Technician to support the high-volume production in our manufacturing department. This position is an immediate opening.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble micro-electronics using small tools and securing with epoxy and UV adhesive 
• Assemble and align high precision optical components. 
• Align lasers and detectors using high precision alignment fixtures 
• Experience in handling highly sensitive PCB assemblies  
• Ability to work utilizing a microscope for extended periods of time 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of working experience in the field 
• Ability to communicate effectively 
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word  
• Fast learning, self-motivated and hard working 
• Efficient and good at multi-tasking 
• Good team player, reliable and independent work style, responsible for outputs and working well under pressure
