What You’ll Do
Horizon3.ai is looking for a Director of Product Marketing (Head of Product Marketing) to build out our product marketing function and drive awareness of our industry-leading portfolio of offensive cybersecurity products.
As a Director of Product Marketing, you will engage cross-functionally with our internal teams to help design, plan and execute the go-to-market strategy that elevates the brand identity of Horizon3.ai. This will include content development, sales enablement, and building differentiated messaging to increase product awareness.
You are a self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment with experience in taking ownership of product marketing activities and be a key liaison between product management, marketing, and sales. You will take technical concepts and transform them into deliverables for the marketplace. On top of this you are experienced in building out a high-performing product marketing team.
Market research and customer Insights: Conduct market research to identify target markets, customer segments, and emerging trends. Gather customer insights through surveys, interviews, and data analysis to help understand customer pain points, preferences, and motivations.
Product positioning and messaging: Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with the target audience. Create value propositions that highlight the unique selling points of the product and differentiate it from competitors.
Go-to-market strategy including product launches: Create and execute go-to-market strategies that encompass various channels such as digital marketing, content marketing, PR, and events. Lead a cross-functional team to ensure product launches are successful.
Competitive analysis: Continuously monitor competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing tactics. Use this information to refine product positioning and messaging, and to inform product development teams about potential improvements or new features.
Sales enablement: Equip sales teams with the necessary tools and resources to effectively sell the product. This includes creating sales collateral, delivering product training, developing demos, creating objection handling, and providing ongoing support to address any sales questions.
Product lifecycle management: Be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life. Work closely with product management teams to influence product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure that customers are always aware of feature/pricing/packaging changes.
Marketing analytics: Understand, from a data perspective, the success of product launches, collateral, and marketing tactics. Regularly review marketing analytics with key internal stakeholders.
Team management: Recruit and mentor a top notch team of product marketers.
