Description
The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Judicial Branch. The court system
employs nearly 3,300 personnel who support 406 elected justices, judges, and circuit court clerks.
The Office of Statewide Programs, Department of Pretrial Services has an opening for Program Project
Coordinator in Bullitt County. This position may be located in any of the following counties: Bullitt,
Breckinridge, Grayson, Edmonson, Ohio, Hardin, Logan, Simpson, Todd, or Warren.
The Program Project Coordinator collaborates with the Regional Administrator and Region Coordinator to support regional staff in executing daily operations, programs, and projects, ensuring timely preparation, accurate review, and effective maintenance of special projects and reports. Assists with scheduling, delivering training, and monitoring quality assurance, and facilitates regional trainings and the Pretrial Academy to enhance staff performance and program compliance.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS CLASSIFICATION:
The Program Project Coordinator collaborates with the Regional Administrator and Region Coordinator to support regional staff in executing daily operations, programs, and projects, ensuring timely preparation, accurate review, and effective maintenance of special projects and reports. Assists with scheduling, delivering training, and monitoring quality assurance, and facilitates regional trainings and the Pretrial Academy to enhance staff performance and program compliance.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS CLASSIFICATION:
- Supports the Region Administrator and Region Coordinator with scheduling, participates in special projects, and contributes to workgroups as directed to advance departmental goals and initiatives
- Facilitate and coordinate project meetings as requested.
- Assist with submission of project management as requested.
- Responds to customer support inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Collaborates with the regional supervisor to support regional staff in executing daily operations, programs, and projects, ensuring timely preparation, accurate review, and effective maintenance of special projects and reports.
- Conducts audits of Tableau and case management reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness, maintains in-custody reports, tracks failures to appear and rearrests, and completes quality assurance tasks to provide reliable information to judicial partners.
- Coordinates schedules and travel arrangements for conferences and meetings.
- Supports the Regional Supervisor with scheduling, participates in special projects, and contributes to workgroups as directed to advance departmental goals and initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in job-related field.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Two (2) years of experience in the judicial field, criminal justice, public speaking, or team
leadership.

Additional relevant work experience and/or higher level of education may be
substituted on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions
Work is typically performed in an office setting.
Statewide travel is required.
Regularly lifts up to 10 lbs.; occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs.
