This Role
We are seeking a mission-driven Behavioral Health Supervisor to join our founding Nashville team, leading our clinicians and delivering whole-person, trauma-informed care to individuals with substance use disorders. Sign-on Bonus: $2000
Base salary range: $80,000 - $95,000 (plus performance bonus plan & equity)
Your Responsibilities
Leadership and Supervision:
- Provide direct supervision and guidance to clinical staff (therapists, case managers) through both weekly 1:1 supervision and Group Supervision.
- Manage clinician caseloads and ensure that behavioral health staff are adhering to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director, Peer Supervisor & Facility Administrator or Operations Director to align clinical care and operational goals.
Therapy and Patient Care:
- As the clinic expands and more clinicians are added to the team, your caseload will be adjusted to allow for greater focus on supervising and supporting the clinical staff.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders, both in-person and via telehealth, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, modeling a non-paternalistic and destigmatizing approach to patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery.
- Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists, ensuring integrated treatment approaches.
- Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
- Pioneer innovative ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations.
- Champion the company’s mission by modeling compassion and fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities.
- Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources to support sustained recovery and overall health.
Qualifications
- Must be approved as a state qualified clinical supervisor (with "S" designation) in the state of Tennessee (e.g., LPCC-S, LCSW-S, LISW-S, LMFTs,
