Broadridge is looking for Professional Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) / DevOps Engineers to join the Broadridge Enterprise Platform team, a crucial component of our organization that specializes in the development and optimization of the foundational technologies and infrastructure that power our business. This team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our enterprise-wide systems by offering close stakeholder collaboration, thought partnership, effective communication, and program excellence. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the Broadridge business objectives.

We are seeking SRE/DevOps engineers who are passionate about using both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain and enhance the platform that is crucial to the daily operations. You'll work collaboratively with teams on a wide range of projects. In addition to enhancing the application and resolving issues, you'll also be responsible for reporting, cloud infrastructure, deployment, maintenance, and controls improvement.

SRE/DevOps Engineer Responsibilities

  • Maintains a smooth-running technology
  • Oversee Infrastructure and application monitoring / support, manage service level agreements and implement automation
  • Manage/provide oversight on application issues, identify root cause and ensure timely resolution
  • Manage incident response including, investigation, resolution, communication and escalation as required
  • Ensure application site reliability
  • Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
  • Manage dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
  • Manage client and technology stakeholder relationships required for smooth operations of the platform

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Strong technical and functional experience in the industry
  • 5-7 years of hands on SRE/DevOps experience
  • 3+ years experience in SRE/DevOps team for cloud based application(s)
  • Experienced with AWS and AWS services like ECS, RDS, Aurora PostreSQL, DynamoDB, ElastiCache Redis, S3, Key Management Services (KMS), Lambda, CloudWatch, Application Load Balancer, Route53, API Gateway
  • Experienced in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by using Terraform and configuration management tool Chef Cookbook
  • Experienced in building and maintaining Jenkins Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Jenkins shared libraries
  • Experienced with Log Analytics tools like Splunk, Application Monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Understanding of container orchestration software like Kubernetes and AWS EKS
  • Experienced with Site Reliability, Applicant Resiliency, Authentication and Authorization, FinOps management
  • Experienced in messaging systems like Kafka, MQ
  • Experience with React, Java, Java script
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile
  • Strong communicator and Quick learner: Able to communicate technical and non-technical information to the business and technical stakeholders
