$67,000 per year

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Licensed Mental Health Professional will provide assessments, treatment planning, group and individual therapy, referral and discharge planning at assigned branch locations in the absence of a Primary Therapist.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, or another related field
- Current licensure to practice as an MHP in Arkansas (LAC, LMSW, LPE, LPC, LCSW, Psy D, PhD)
- Knowledge and effective use of Recovery, Strengths Based, and Person-Centered care.
- Honest, dependable, self-motivated, and dedicated to Birch Tree Values and Mission.
- Basic software skills and typing, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must possess knowledge and effective use of Person-Centered Services from a Strength Based perspective, Averting Crisis & Emergency Holds Training, CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Completes clinic forms on time with knowledgeable information of signs and symptoms the member may be experiencing and/or any difficulties with medications or side effects of meds.
- Knowledge of the mental health system and legal system and using it effectively. Ensuring that any court orders or legal issues are attended to timely and documented accurately in the clinical record.
- Knowledge of community resources, entitlements and benefits of population served. Ensuring that members have access to community resources, entitlements, and benefits (encourages members to apply for housing, food stamps, other resources available to them; directs paraprofessionals to assist, etc.)
- Attend branch clinical meetings as scheduled.
- Attend supervisions with direct supervisor.
- Provides QBHP supervision as required; enters documentation of supervision that accurately describes supervision provided and covers the required areas of QBHP supervision.
- Provides after-hours, on-call coverage as assigned.
- Reviews/approves TC daily notes as required.
- Ensures documentation is submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensures plan of care objective achievement/improvement is above 49%.
- Ensure employee training and yearly CEUs are up to date, including CEUs to maintain licensure, and acknowledging updated policy and procedures manual and employee handbook.
- Maintain healthy relationships, advocate for the members to ensure needs are met through a Person-Centered approach according to policy and procedure.
- Monitor the health and safety of members, the signs, and symptoms of their mental illness, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Utilizing a team approach and in accordance with policies and procedures, meets weekly prescriptions in individual and group therapy for TC and Rehab members.
- Completed MH Eval, Updated MH Evals, POCs, and POC reviews on time.
- Completes edits requested on POC within 7-days, showing a decrease in the number of POCs needing edits over time.
- Effective participation in the utilization review process.
- Open communication with Branch Director/Clinical Director
- Demonstrate compliance with all Birch policies and procedures and commitment to the Birch mission and philosophy.
- Must possess good communication skills, relationships skills and time management skills.
- Must possess the ability to work cooperatively and respectfully from a team approach.
- Must be honest, dependable, self-motivated and dedicated.
