The Opportunity

Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst - Global Engineering/Capital Planning

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

A challenging global position within Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain that allows for experiences in FP&A activities and reporting within a global environment.  This role will support organizational efforts in identifying global capital planning and reporting solutions, as well as being a key player in developing process improvements.  This position maintains close working relationships with multiple functional areas across the Abbott Nutrition Division, including all global mfg. facilities and commercial organizations, as well as Directors and VP levels within Abbott Nutrition.

Key Job Activities:

• Lead, direct, maintain, coordinate, and consolidate Abbott Nutrition’s global Plan for Plan/Quarterly LBEs for Global Capital Expenditures and Project Expense.  Includes coordinating deadlines, outlining process, and communicating with multiple locations to consolidate Global forecast.
• Maintain Planview application for actuals reporting and forecasting Project Expense and Capital Expenditures including developing process improvements on improving forecast accuracy.
• Monthly Reporting of Global Project Expense and Capital Expenditures vs. benchmarks with commentary and analysis.  Lead monthly meetings on performance and variance causals with global Abbott Nutrition locations.
• SAP Project System project analysis on project spending and commitments made.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING  

Required  

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably Business Administration, Finance concentration. MBA/CPA preferred, but not required
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Applications, with a specific focus on Excel, working knowledge of SAP/Symphony and Host Analytics Applications and Data Analytics tools such as Power BI and Alteryx preferred.
• A minimum of 6-8 years combined finance
