Senior Commissions Analyst

Job Summary

The Commissions team is responsible for managing all Broker, Partner (or Vendor) and Agent commission payments. Working with various stakeholders across the enterprise, the team ensures that commission payments are made accurately and in a timely manner. This position has the responsibility for contract research, collaborating with Accounts Payable during payment processing. The position will oversee integration of new commission processes to Vistra, and focus on improving existing processes. Additionally, this position provides servicing and support on any commissions related inquiries or requests internally and external to the company.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

•Act as mentor for junior Commissions Analysts•Access, analyze, and process large data sets to accurately create payment files for upload•Lead the research and adjustment of any calculations or issues that arise from payment files•Perform root cause analysis •Work with stakeholders and communicate with outside broker firms to ensure that any complications have been corrected •Define payment records and controls process •Identify and lead process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the Commissions process •Respond to customer inquiries and requests

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

•Excellent analytical skills, including root cause analysis•Proficient in MS Office •Mastery of Excel for data analysis•Excellent communication and teamwork skills  •Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment•Ability to manage tight deadlines •Excellent presence, communication and meeting facilitation skills•Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent•1+ years experience in commissions or accounting related work

•Maintain timely Commissions payments

•Commissions payments accuracy

•Maintain timely resolutions to Broker and internal stakeholder requests
