Requirements & Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
- Create user‑information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java‑based components and interfaces.
- Communicate throughout our distributed Agile organization to achieve results.
- Actively support quality‑assurance processes and test automation.
- Continuously expand your skill set and domain knowledge while delivering high‑complexity tasks.
- Propose and drive improvements across code, processes, and products.
- Core tech: Java SE, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, JPA/Hibernate, JMS, ActiveMQ.
- Dev tools: Git (or other VCS), Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Tomcat.
- Data & cloud: High‑availability, scalable, and performant application design; data‑processing and back‑end development; Snowflake data‑warehouse experience (must‑have); knowledge of CI/CD frameworks is an advantage.
- Methodology & quality: Agile (Scrum or Kanban), Test‑Driven Development, code‑review procedures, integration testing, secure‑software‑development best practices.
- Soft skills: Passionate, results‑focused, strong communicator, relationship‑management strength, stress‑resistant, self‑driven, able to work in and navigate complex environments.
- Languages: Fluency in French (written & spoken) is mandatory. Proficiency in English is also required for daily collaboration across our global teams.
- Advantageous: Prior experience in a corporate environment or with vehicle‑fleet‑management solutions.
- Back end: Java 8/11, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MongoDB, Snowflake, Node.js, TypeScript
- Front end: Vue.js
- Testing: Mobile testing, Cucumber
- Processes: Agile, Scrum
- Cloud: AWS, Azure
