40Position Summary
The goal of our research is to better understand the biology and genetics of human cancer and to provide better preclinical models to validate new treatment and imaging approaches. In addition to establishment of patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models, we use both PDXs and PDXs-derived organoids to conduct preclinical testing of various anticancer drugs and compounds. Cellular, molecular, and experiments are performed in our lab such as cell culture, immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining, preparation of DNA and protein, lentiviral transduction, flow cytometry, imaging, and small animal procedures. This is a highly collaborative and fast-paced research environment and we are looking for highly motivated candidates.Job Description
Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.

- Proficiency in basic cellular biology techniques and preclinical drug testing.
- Ability to work well with others as part of a cohesive team.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent record keeping and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform, troubleshoot, and analyze experimental data.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
Required Qualifications
Candidates with prior experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics and/or cell biology with at least a bachelor’s degree are encouraged to apply.
