Core Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues across a diverse fleet of R&D robotic and electromechanical systems to support ongoing development activities.
Perform hands-on testing and validation of complex electro-mechanical systems, ensuring reliability, functionality, and performance.
Execute software testing, system updates, and firmware installations within Ubuntu/Linux environments.
Partner closely with R&D engineers to support hardware upgrades, prototype builds, and development system enhancements.
Build strong working relationships across engineering and technician teams through clear communication, collaboration, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience solving complex challenges in robotic or advanced electromechanical systems.
5+ years of experience supporting, testing, or developing complex electromechanical systems in production, manufacturing, R&D, or laboratory environments.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment.
Proven success contributing to innovative R&D programs and cross-functional product development teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and values partnership, innovation, and continuous learning.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Previous experience working in industrial robotics, automotive, aerospace, or other highly regulated electromechanical industries.
Surgical robotics experience.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $69,000.00 to $111,090.00
