Overview
The Chick-fil-A Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team is launching a 12-month project-based Community Fellows Program that uniquely integrates high-level CSR work experience with professional development. The CSR Community Fellow will be responsible for working with leadership teams across the business to help deliver successful CSR programming and further impact stakeholder engagement initiatives. Fellows will be led by Community Affairs leadership and work cross-functionally within the Corporate Social Responsibility team and other departments to deepen their CSR knowledge and further develop their professional experience.
This Project Full-time role is a TEMPORARY, full-time position with a maximum of 12-months.
This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Our Flexible Future model offers a healthy mix of working in person and virtually, strengthening key elements of the Chick-fil-A culture by fostering collaboration and community.
Responsibilities
The program provides Fellows the opportunity to enhance their professional experience through a combination of educational experiences, internal rotation, external nonprofit rotations, and meaningful project leadership. Through community engagement, development, and implementation, Fellows will gain hands-on experience, exposure, and knowledge in:
- Project Management
- Impact Reporting
- Storytelling & Communications
- Community Partnerships
- Benchmarking
- Budgeting
- Public Speaking
Fellows function as full-time professional staff members on the Community Affairs team and are expected to participate in all Chick-fil-A, Inc. Staff-wide initiatives, and Cultural Cornerstones. Additionally, Fellows will broaden their CSR experience through a rotation with a 501c3 assignment and by completing a capstone project. Fellows will also meet monthly for cohort seminars, social impact experiences, and continuing education opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Community activation or volunteer management experience
- Demonstrated experience with data analytics, marketing, and storytelling.
