The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Government Property Management Specialist (Mid-level) to join our team in Phantom Works located in Las Vegas, NV.
Are you ready to take on a vital role in managing our company's assets? We are seeking a dedicated Property Management Specialist to ensure compliance with contract provisions and enhance our property management processes. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and shop personnel, fostering collaboration to effectively manage property and support ongoing projects.
Position Responsibilities:
- Property Tracking: Track the movement of property by coordinating, preparing, and documenting applicable forms to accomplish changes in ownership, accountability, or location in accordance with government regulations, customer contracts, or corporate policy.
- Auditing and Reporting: Perform audits, document processes and procedures, and investigate and report lost or damaged property to maintain accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition.
- Disposition Management: Handle the disposition of property identified by company, legal, or contractual requirements, completing all property-related activities at the completion or termination of contracts.
- Record Verification: Verify that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that equipment servicing requirements are established by responsible organizations.
- Process Review: Confirm that work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts, corporate policy, or recommended industry standards. Review records for accuracy and assess processes for compliance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Information Management: Provide support and expertise to enhance and manage property information using off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools, establishing comprehensive property records for company or government property.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that property is allowable, reasonable, allocable, and utilized in accordance with company or contract requirements, while coordinating physical inventory and reconciling results to ensure compliance.
- Contract Administration: Administer the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations regarding the acquisition, control, use, care for, reporting, and disposal of property.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in the development and implementation of tools, processes, and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities to Include:
- Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property.
- Assists in performing audits, documenting processes and procedures and investigating and reporting lost or damaged property.
- Learns to determine property acquisition requirements, product availability and authority to fulfill company, program or contractual obligations.
- Uses off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to establish property records for company or government property.
- Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to indicate a change of ownership, accountability or location of property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy.
- Conducts physical inventory of property and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assists in verifying that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that equipment servicing requirements are established by responsible organizations.
- Learns to confirm that service work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts, corporate policy or recommended industry standards.
- Learns how to determine when property is allowable, reasonable, allocable and utilized in accordance with company or contract requirements.
- Performs disposition of property identified by company, legal or contractual requirements.
- Assists with inventory adjustments, liability determinations and title issues.
- Handles basic property related activities at completion or termination of contract.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications
