The Salesforce Administrator oversees the day-to-day operation of the Salesforce application, which is critical to the sales functions. The Salesforce Administrator works with stakeholders to define system requirements and customize the platform to achieve business goals and enable users to get the most out of Salesforce technology and our entire go-to-market tech stack.

What you get to do every day: 

  • Work with stakeholders to scope, build and maintain scalable processes in the Salesforce.com platform  
  • Support the Revenue Operations team in the technical facilitation of all key revenue systems (Marketo, Salesforce, Bizible, Outreach, and more) 
  • Develop new and maintain existing functionality, including custom objects, custom fields, formulas, workflows, page layouts, validation rules, assignment rules, roles, profiles, security 
  • Support the optimization of revenue processes and technologies through automations and integrations  
  • Maintain and upgrade existing automation to align with Salesforce’s best practices  
  • Document new and existing workflows and processes  
  • Perform Salesforce administrator functions including maintenance/updates, system backups, security, roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups 
  • Address user questions, aggregate and prioritize user feedback, and plan and implement Salesforce enhancements based on personal expertise, user feedback and organizational goals 
  • Monitor new Salesforce release features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvement  

What you bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience  
  • Salesforce Certification or equivalent experience  
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce in an administrative role  
  • Strong understanding of all declarative automation tools within Salesforce (flow, process builder, workflow rules)  
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel   
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand scope and define requirements  
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a willingness to take on "non-role-specific" duties as needed to support the team and business  
  • A bias toward action and "getting things done" to a high standard of quality. A flexible, team-first collaborator who is goal-oriented and approaches projects with a positive, inquisitive mindset  
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to change  
  • Local Austin, Texas candidates preferred, but may consider candidates in the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, U.S. territories
