About the role

About the team

The Lifecycle Marketing Operations team is dedicated to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Zillow’s owned marketing channels. Our mission is to accelerate execution, ensure channel health, and increase impact to drive success for our organization.

We are the primary experts across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging. We partner closely with teams across Zillow Group to configure and launch channels and campaigns that deliver on business objectives and meet channel- and audience-health benchmarks. We use our MarTech and audience-data expertise to define requirements and deliver final outputs. We also own email health, protecting inbox placement and sender reputation, by setting build/send standards, monitoring postmaster signals, advising on engagement hygiene and suppression, and coordinating incident response.

We enhance channels by leading initiatives that develop new processes and technical capabilities, unlock new features for testing and learning, improve messaging quality, streamline data, and maintain operational excellence in our systems.

About the role

As Deliverability Manager, you will be the primary owner of email health, sender reputation, and inbox placement for high-volume programs. • Establish and enforce engagement hygiene and global suppression policies to sustain list health, protect reputation, and maximize reach.

  • Standardize content and send guardrails to ensure consistent rendering and reliable inbox placement.

  • Lead deliverability monitoring, weekly readouts, and incident response, implementing action plans to resolve issues.

  • Develop and maintain a prioritized testing roadmap; run experiments and operationalize learnings into templates and automations.

  • Track industry, provider, and regulatory changes, updating guidance, playbooks, and segmentation strategies as needed.

  • Serve as the deliverability subject matter expert, training teams and briefing stakeholders on channel health, risks, and priorities.
