What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, production spaces, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor access as directed, and support a professional environment through clear communication and courteous assistance.
• Assist with security-related requests, alarms, and routine inspections, adapting to varying working environments and conditions across the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
