Work together with the IT Client Support groups/Business Analysts to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines. Above needs to be accomplished in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change quickly.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Serve as project manager for application development, solutions and technical support 
• Maintain and develop close client support and operations relationships
• Serves as personnel Manager Manages developers in role of middle management for company
• Manage application development release cycles and new solutions, manage resources and work with contract resources. Plan schedules, manage budgets, and interface with users. 
• Manage technical design and development of solutions and keep up with technology of java, spring boot, oracle, spring, integration
• This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others
• Incumbents with more experience may be called upon to mentor, train, and guide newer/less experience team members.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Directly supervises 10 non-supervisory employees.
• Manages 1 subordinate supervisor(s) who supervises a total of 4 employees in the IT application development.
• Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of IT application development.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 5 years of experience developing and implementing warehouse management systems, leading and managing teams responsible for application development in a complex large-scale mission critical environment
• Experience with Java, Spring, Spring boot, Integration
• Experience with Oracle database, both technology and SQL development<
