Manufacturing General Production - Summer Help - Temporary

EJ has openings for Temporary Summer Help for Foundry Laborer on our 1st and 3rd shifts. Salary - $22.40 per hour with an additional $1.50 per hour shift premium for 3rd shift.  This Temporary position is from June - August/September.

 

We are currently hiring for our summer help positions at EJ Foundry in Elmira, MI. These positions will be for 1st and/or 3rd shift. These will be seasonal, temporary positions.

 

Positions available are listed below:

 

Shipping & Receiving (1st Shift)

 

Maintenance - Shop help/Clean Up (1st Shift)

 

Molding/Core Utility (1st and 3rd Shift)

SUMMARY:

 

Production of castings from a molded to finished product for use by the end user.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

• Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.
• May drive industrial equipment to move materials.
• Uses power and/or hand tools that may include air grinder, overhead air hoist, chipping hammer, punch, and screw driver.
• Must meet physical demands as stated below.
• Uses computer to obtain and/or input information.
• May be assigned to jobs in other departments.
• May aid in training of others.
• Provides suggestion for improvement of all our systems.
• Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment.  Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.
