As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with both the public and your team. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)

• Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as needed

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to manage visitor flow as needed.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for all individuals on site.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal protocols.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
