THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you passionate about high quality? Do you like to work closely with a small team while being responsible for the quality of the bulk and finished products as well as assisting in periodic release activities? Then you might be our new colleague that we need in our Quality Assurance team!

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist, preferably from March 2026 to May 2027 at our continuously developing Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Danmark A/S production facility in Kalundborg. Where we currently produce nutraceuticals for production and companion animals and new exciting products are coming hence quality is key in everything we do! For this position, we are looking for a new colleague who has the skills and motivation to drive the quality assurance.

The position provides you many interfaces with other departments such as Production, Supply Chain and Regulatory Affairs both locally and on a global level as well as exposure to both functional and cross-functional projects.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Maintain the Quality management system and participate in HACCP meeting
• Deviation and CAPA management
• Complaint and Change control management
• Quality issues and market actions management
• Participate in release of Raw materials, packaging materials and bulk- and finish goods
• Support and assist to ensure qualification of raw material suppliers and toll manufacturers
• Other QA support and assistance (i.e., training of production staff)

 

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

• Preferably a Master/Bachelor Degree in Natural Sciences or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in the Feed/Food or Pharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• Excellent command of the Danish and English language
• Experience with HACCP, ISO9001, ISO14001 and GMP+ experience with qualification and validation of equipment and methods
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• An independent and meticulous cross functional team player
• Flair for details and capable of working with many assignments at the same time without losing overview
