California Climate Action Corps (CCAC) is a national service program led by California Volunteers (CV) and implemented by Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) dedicated to advancing climate actions that engage community members, cultivate change, and leave a lasting impact. CCAC is part of a larger statewide initiative to address the climate crisis by recruiting members to become emerging leaders with local organizations throughout the State to mobilize community members on direct climate action through volunteer engagement, community education, and outreach focused on urban greening, organic waste recovery, and wildfire resiliency projects. We are looking for a natural leader that’s passionate about the environment, fighting climate change, thrives in opportunities where you’re mentoring, building relationships, and finding solutions, and supports a program that provides emerging sustainability professionals with job opportunities, nonprofits, and local governments with sustainable solutions, and the environment. You will have the opportunity to engage with many stakeholders, up to 100+ partner organizations, and 300+ Fellows.
This position includes both acting as a Regional Supervisor for CCAC Fellows during their terms, as well as managing database systems and providing technical support for all tracking and communications systems. The Program Coordinator (Database) should be able to build and manage database systems, including but not limited to, Google Sheets and Salesforce. They should have the knowledge and ability to build reports and dashboards in Salesforce, as well as have the technical experience to be able to link information between systems easily. They should also be able to respond to data requests quickly, and be able to efficiently and accurately demonstrate program metrics.

- Annual Pay: $76,000-$85,300 based on experience

Qualifications:
- Must be based in California
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working directly in areas such as:
- Sustainability program planning/implementation
- Business and communication
- Community-based programs
- Environmental science/education
- Volunteer coordination
- Technical skills:
- Intermediate or advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Ability to build databases
- Experience with Salesforce, specifically building reports and dashboards
- Ability to present program metrics data efficiently and accurately
- Experience with Slack, and/or Box
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills such as:
- Successful project management experience, including the balancing of simultaneous projects and deadlines
- Workplace and Professional Skills, such as time management, managing multiple projects at the same time, and great organization skills
- Excellent skills in relationship-building and communication
- Mentoring and coaching abilities
- Understanding and ability to work in a multi-racial, multi-generational environment
- Enthusiasm and commitment to climate change mitigation

- Climate volunteer management

Responsibilities:
- Database and Technical Support
- Build and manage tracking databases
- Work with IT staff to utilize Salesforce for CCAC needs, including but not limited to building reports and dashboards
- Ensure tracking systems are talking to each other and are accurate
- Respond to data requests for grant reports
