As the Project Manager, Sales Team, you'll be responsible for interacting with the VP of Retail Operations, Retail Team Leads and managing a number of retail sales merchandisers within the Ferrero Direct Retail Workforce. As the Project Manager, Sales Team, you'll own the implementation and enforcement of strategic plans to tactics within retail execution. You'll perform retail analytics and evaluations, as well as, manage Ferrero Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Distribution, Merchandising, Shelving, and Pricing (DSMP) expectations within the customer channel.

 

This position will be based in Texas.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage KPI/DSMP standards, execution, and expectations of assigned customer account/s with direct reports
• Coordinate/collaborate with the broker organizations (when applicable)
• Enforce, execute and ensure quality standards for assigned channel/account responsibility
• Execute and manage tactical and account specific retail sales plans
• Communicate and educate account strategy and tactics to direct reports
• Provide analytics and evaluations on complex data/reporting and identify opportunities within areas of improvement – put plan in place an execute for improvement
• Develop direct reports
• Engage in workwiths and in-store coaching with direct reports
• Provide scorecarding, analytics and insights in relation to retail execution and gap-to-goal progression
   

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Associates Degree, or some college preferred
• Significant field experience within the CPG industry; Food or Confections industry preferred
• Significant Retail/Field Broker experience 
• Well established knowledge of the assigned customer 
• Possess critical thinking skills, problem solving skills with an ability to adjust to markets/customer demands
• Able to work in a team environment and build consensus
• Self-motivated and results oriented
• Detail oriented, organized, and excellent time management skills
• Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
• Passionate with a great attitude
• Adaptability to an ever-changing environment 
• Analytical ability to evaluate data and identify key areas of opportunity
• Willing to travel 60% - 75% of the calendar year
