As a Business Analytics Manager within PNC's MarCom organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA ; Cleveland, OH; or Philadelphia, PA.This Business Analytics Manager position is for an Email Marketing Manager on the Customer Management team within Marketing & Communications department. We’re seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to own the day‑to‑day execution of email marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and to serve as a trusted advisor on email marketing best practices, deliverability, and evolving privacy/technology changes that impact engagement and measurement. This role will also play a key part in standing up Adobe Journey Optimizer for triggered email communications. This person will partner across Marketing, Analytics, Privacy, and Technology teams to ensure the smooth operations of email marketing.
Responsibilities Include:
· Own daily campaign execution in SFMC: data extension management, email content build, dynamic content, build and manage automations, quality assurance, and email deployment.
· Stand up Adobe Journey Optimizer for email sends: collaborate with MarTech to configure connections; design journeys, testing and governance; document operational playbooks and train users.
· Consultation on Best Practices: provide guidance on template architecture, accessibility, mobile rendering, inbox placement, etc.; establish standards for risk mitigation, testing, and quality assurance.
· Monitor technology & privacy updates: track and interpret provider changes (e.g., inbox privacy features, anti‑spam updates), translate into recommendations to minimize impact to PNC Marketing.
· Deliverability management: partner on authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), work with deliverability vendor partner to understand potential issues and works toward resolution, understand best deliverability practices.
· Data & analytics: understanding integrations with other MarTech platforms, knowledge of available data to be used for analytics, and expertise on how to leverage data
· Compliance & governance: follow approved email marketing related controls, coordinate with Privacy and/or Compliance when appropriate to ensure compliance with all regulations, define standard operating practices and ensure adherence
· Process excellence: standardize intake, enforce SLAs, and continually optimize working models with Growth Marketing and Marketing OperationsPNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
