Overview
As a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Senior Specialist will play a key role in delivering on the Bank’s commitment to the community. As a member of the small CSR Americas team, you will actively contribute to charitable giving, community partnerships, and employee volunteering. You will serve as an internal ambassador for community involvement and also represent the Bank and foundation's work externally.

What You’ll Do
Oversee employee volunteer program for the Americas to ensure alignment with global CSR strategy and US Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) requirements. This includes planning and delivering a year-round calendar of hands-on and skills-based employee volunteer projects with nonprofit partners in NYC and coordinating with nonprofits and offices outside NYC around local community engagement activities
Manage a small portfolio of community grants, initiate strategy and review proposals, provide due diligence and execution
Execute volunteer and engagement events from ideation to completion. Duties include serving as main point of contact for nonprofits and employees; managing project information and registration on internal website, providing project details to employees, supervising projects and checking in volunteers as needed, and logging volunteer hours and Key Performance Indicator (KPIs)
Write internal and external communications regarding volunteer programming and overall CSR activities, including weekly volunteer newsletter to increase awareness of CSR across different internal and external channels
Manage and administer company matching gifts program, including managing third party vendor relationship, responding to employee and nonprofit inquiries (which may involve sensitive and high-level interaction), and preparing batch reporting for company processing
Manage other CSR projects and initiatives as needed
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s or master’s degree
Extensive demonstrated experience in volunteerism, managing nonprofit partnerships, or event management
Experience coordinating and executing events and program
Experience developing content and implementing programs for social impact initiatives, preferably for a large matrixed organization
Experience with New York City nonprofit landscape and familiarity with City agencies and public-private partnerships
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Knowledge of corporate philanthropy, community engagement and best practices and ability to apply them to the Business
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to position and frame new narratives
Proven track record of managing overlapping program timelines, and deliverables across a portfolio, balancing competing priorities and ensuring follow-through
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills (experience with AI, data management and reporting a plus)

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to $129,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
