THE JOB:

As a Senior Project Manager with MGM Resorts Event Productions (MREP), you'll be the driving force behind some of the most high-profile and impactful events across our world-renowned Las Vegas destinations. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead large-scale projects with confidence and creativity, collaborating with Sr. Account Managers and working independently to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions. Whether navigating budget parameters or overcoming venue constraints, you bring precision, innovation, and poise to every challenge. Ideal for a natural leader and strategic multitasker, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-energy environment where no two days are the same.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Managing strategic planning and execution of major, multifaceted events for top-tier clients

• Leading operational meetings and ensuring alignment across clients, internal teams, and vendors

• Developing and managing event timelines, budgets, purchasing, and financial reconciliation

• Providing on-site leadership for event installations, live production, and strike

• Driving creative solutions and responding quickly to client needs in real-time

• Partnering in venue research, layout planning, and technical production logistics

• Representing MREP at trade shows and staying up-to-date with industry trends

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of experience in special events, sales, production, entertainment, catering or hospitality industry

• Experience with project management, technical production, or event design preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Delphi, Meeting Matrix, Social Tables is a plus

• Industry certifications (CMP, CSEP, DMCP, OSHA 30, etc.) are a bonus
