Environmental Services Supervisor (EVS/Housekeeping)
Dunwoody Village is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and energetic Environmental Services Supervisor to join our talented team.
Reporting to the EVS Manager, this position is responsible for (but not limited to) coordinating and organizing activities of EVS and Laundry Technicians to guarantee that all instructions and assignments are followed.
Key Assistant Environmental Services Supervisor responsibilities include:
• Ensures that proper, efficient cleaning is provided to Independent residents, the Care Center, Personal care, and common areas of the facility
• Oversee “move-in” process as new residents move to Dunwoody Village.
• Works with Nursing department management and supervisors to ensure room turnovers are completed in a timely and manner
• Assists the Manager with effective management and supervision of approximately 40 employees. This includes annual staff performance reviews, coaching staff, and training new hires
• Manages department payroll process including scheduling and approving timesheets.
• Manages work schedule for department including replacing employees as warranted.
• Supervisory experience in a health care setting – preferably within a continuing care retirement community is strongly preferred. Experience and a strong desire to work with older adults is crucial.
