Enterprise Architect

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Enterprise Architect to join our UniQue team in Brussels.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Own and actively define the desired objectives for the product.
• Analyze the integration of the different environments in the product.
• Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan for the product.
• Supervise the implementation of the technical architecture, including an analysis of the integration and interoperability of different existing open-source software building blocks that will be included in the cloud architecture
• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance. Evaluate business architecture models that reflect the organization's strategies and goals.
• Steer/inspect/validate the software architecture documents.
• Work within an agile process and assist in taking decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team.
• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities.
• Technical interface between the product owners and the external developers.
• Assist during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Have at least a Master's degree

• Have a minimum 14 years of professional IT experience, out of which 3 years as an Enterprise Architect.
• Possess at least one of the following certifications: CDP (Certified DevSecOps Professional), CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI, PM2, Prince 2 Foundation, ITIL v4, OVHcloud Certified Master or OVHcloud Certified Specialist, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer).
• Minimum 2 year experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user information systems.
• Minimum 2 year experience in Agile development and agile tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Minimum 2 year experience with Application management lifecycle
• Minimum 2 year experience with Cloud architecture frameworks such as OVH, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google, and hands-on experience developing and building models based on such frameworks
• Minimum 2 year experience with Infrastructure as a code, DevOps pipelines for cloud native application and container-based technologies (Kubernetes and Docker)
• Minimum 2 year practical experience with enterprise architecture best practices, goals and frameworks (TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman)
• Minimum 2 year experience with enterprise architecture notations (ArchiMate, BPMN, Aris, etc)
• Minimum 1 year experience with microservices
• Minimum 1 year experience with application design
• Minimum 1 year experience with modelling tools
• Minimum 1 year experience with enterprise architecture
• Minimum 1 year experience with rational databases
• Minimum 1 year experience with business process analysis
• Minimum 1 year experience with interoperability technologies at cloud infrastructure level but also at service level (web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, event architecture).
• Knowledge of security mechanisms for cloud architecture (e.g. IdP).
• Practical knowledge of (Open-Source) data sharing tools (EDC, Gaia-X, others), models, and standards (W3C DID, W3C DCAT, W3C ODRL
