High Voltage Director/ Senior Manager

<p>METKA EGN ( Mytlineos) , a utility-scale world class EPC, is seeking a full-time permanent HV Director/ Senior Manager to join our team in Spain.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Position Details</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Responsible of the Construction of the Grid Connection works in all the projects from my company in Iberia.</li> <li>Supporting the projects for BoT or EPC model regarding the HV works.</li> <li>Follow up all the procedure of the certification of PV according to the NTS and Royal Decrees with directly communication with TSO or DNO.</li> <li>Managing the subcontractor’s agreements according to the specification and requirements of my Com-pany and/or Client.</li> <li> Responsible for the design, contracting, purchasing, construction and commissioning of the entire High Voltage part, controlling the planning to meet milestones with the end customer.</li> <li>Management of Grid Connection permits with the System Operator, Industrial Ministry and local Dis-tributors according to the Operational Procedures.</li> <li>Carry out of all the procedure and testing with System Operator (SIMEL) for the good working of the Metering system.</li> <li>Follow up all the procedure of validation of the PV with the Operator System (REE), assisting to meet-ings or calls in order to fulfill all the legal and technical requirements.</li> <li>Managing the communication and testing with Operator System Dispatch Centre</li> </ul><p></p> <p><strong>Preferred Work Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years proven track record in HV systems</li> <li>Experience in classic automation and HV switchgear’s relays multi-line diagrams is highly appreciated</li> <li>Click here to enter text.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other </strong>(qualifications, certifications, professional memberships etc.)<strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>SMSTS, or IOSH or other equivalent</li> <li>First Aider Certificate</li> <li>Full clean driving license</li> <li>Competent Microsoft Office User</li> <li>Awareness of electrical safety rules and competency to prepare electrical safety rules</li> <li>City Guilds 2391 - Test and Inspection or current equivalent.</li> <li>City Guilds 2382 -18th edition wiring regulations or current equivalent.</li> <li>City Guilds 2330, 2360 or 2365 Electrical Installation or current equivalent.</li> <li>Responsible of the Construction of the Grid Connection works in all the projects from my company in Iberia.</li> <li>Supporting the projects for BoT or EPC model regarding the HV works.</li> <li>Follow up all the procedure of the certification of PV according to the NTS and Royal Decrees with directly communication with TSO or DNO.</li> <li>Managing the subcontractor’s agreements according to the specification and requirements of my Com-pany and/or Client.</li> <li> Responsible for the design, contracting, purchasing, construction and commissioning of the entire High Voltage part, controlling the planning to meet milestones with the end customer.</li> <li>Management of Grid Connection permits with the System Operator, Industrial Ministry and local Dis-tributors according to the Operational Procedures.</li> <li>Carry out of all the procedure and testing with System Operator (SIMEL) for the good working of the Metering system.</li> <li>Follow up all the procedure of validation of the PV with the Operator System (REE), assisting to meet-ings or calls in order to fulfill all the legal and technical requirements.</li> <li>Managing the communication and testing with Operator System Dispatch Centre</li> </ul> <p><br/></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Education Requirements:</strong></p><p>Electrical Engineering background</p><p>Knowledge Requirements (Technical Competencies):</p><p><strong>Essential</strong></p><p>Minimum 7 years of professional experience as field technician for PV Solar projects</p><p>Up to date industry recognized AP course (HV AP 2/ AP3 Authorization)</p><p>NVQ3 qualified Electrician</p><p>Good mechanical knowledge</p><p>Proficient in electrical systems design and solar connections</p><p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><p>Test equipment/ able fault finding / VLF testing /IR</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Flexibility from Madrid or Caceres Office, working from home some days but with frequent site visits.<br/></p><p>Company car provided.</p><p>Company laptop and mobile provided.</p><p>Tool kits (electrical instruments, hand tools) provided.</p>
