The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Systems Architect to join the team in Hazelwood, MO; Ridley Park, PA; or Seattle, WA.
In this exciting role, you will work to support cutting-edge products in support of our Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q) Information Technology (IT) Systems division, utilizing key applications such as Siemens Opcenter, databases, and Boeing built software to drive innovation and efficiency.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads activities to define requirements, design and verify robust architecture, data and information management systems and components
Leads the identification of design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements
Incorporates architecture functions into software development lifecycle
Leads the development and configuration management of architecture views and models
Assesses of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives
Performs trade-off analyses
Evaluates products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments
Drafts data and information management products and service standards
Assesses impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle
Develops architecture and data/information management standards and strategies
Coaches and mentors others
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience leading large scale, cross functional projects
10+ years of experience planning and executing optimization initiatives
10+ years of experience leading Business Transformation and Information Technology initiatives in a complex global environment
10+ years of experience communicating and presenting to all levels from individual contributors to executives
10+ years of experience integrating application components and databases across computing platforms
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in IT Architecture and Development
Experience with Siemens Engineering and Manufacturing software
Experience in designing, building and delivering information technology and services
Experience connecting business architecture and capabilities to solve architecture
Experience with multiple software development languages and methodologies, including Agile/DevOps
Experience in leading organizational and culture change
Experience with AI, data analytics, semantics, machine learning, deep learning or cognitive science
Experience managing supplier relationships and performing supplier technology evaluations

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $142,800 – $207,000
