Job Description:
The Cyber Data Analytics chapter within Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) organization is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team. The focus for this role will be to build data solutions, such as data processing modules, data migration pipelines, data storage units, and data models. The team supports the Office of the CISO / Cyber Regulatory, Risk, and Policy Team goals and objectives by designing analytical and reporting strategies to enable them to oversee implementation of cyber controls to achieve our objectives in partnership with the business.
The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering.
Experience with one or more RDBMS, preferably Snowflake.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience with NiFi, Python, APIs, shell scripts for data movement
Experience in building data ingestion and transformation processes.
Knowledge of DBT is desired.
Ability to work independently to bring tasks/stories to completion.
Experience and comfort working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban).

Collaborates and participates in cross-functional agile development teams which includes design, development, testing and deployment.
Works closely with Technical Lead/Architects to ensure that solutions are consistent with IT Roadmap.
Develops data ingestion, data integration, and data visualization code.
Troubleshoots and fix any issues reported on data issues and performance.
Documents testing observations and take aways. Presents findings, opportunities and outcome to tech leads and other team members.
Adhering to engineering best practices such as code and design reviews.
Provides insights from the data to the business.
Works as part of a team in delivering complex technical features.
