We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Engineer 3 to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, with a focus on Spring Boot for backend development, and experience working with the Svelte framework for frontend applications. As an Engineer 3, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient applications, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end components. Must Have Skills:
1 year of experience with MongoDB
1 year experience with Concourse CI/CD
1 Year of experience Svelte
3-5 years of experience with Java and Javascript
1 year of experience with AWS/ Terraform
Core Responsibilities:
1. Design and Develop Full-Stack Solutions: Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code for both front-end and back-end components of web applications. Utilize Java and frameworks like Spring Boot for backend development, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
2. Implement and Maintain APIs: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs that facilitate communication between the front-end and back-end. Ensure that APIs are secure, efficient, and well-documented to support seamless integration with external services and applications.
3. Optimize Performance and Scalability: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the entire stack. Implement best practices for database optimization, caching strategies, and load balancing to ensure fast and reliable application performance.
4. Conduct Code Reviews and Testing: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices. Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure the reliability and stability of both front-end and back-end components.
5. Troubleshoot and Debug Issues: Investigate and resolve technical issues and bugs reported by users or identified through monitoring. Provide timely and effective solutions to ensure the smooth functioning of web applications.
6. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver high-quality web applications that meet business objectives and user needs.
7. Ensure Security Best Practices: Implement security measures across the full stack, including data protection, authentication, authorization, and encryption. Regularly review and update security protocols to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
8. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Continuously learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in full-stack development. Stay informed about the latest industry trends to enhance the development process and improve application quality.
