Job Description

SCAYLE is the B2B division of ABOUT YOU Holding SE and comprises a three-part service portfolio: Commerce Technology, Online Marketing and Commerce Operations. The SCAYLE Commerce Engine offers brands and retailers the components to scale their digital B2C business. Its clients include more than 100 online shops in 26 countries, including leading brands such as Marc O'Polo, Depot, The Founded and Tom Tailor. SCAYLE employs more than 400 people in Hamburg. The managing directors are Tarek Müller, Sebastian Betz and Hannes Wiese.

As Analytics Engineer - SCAYLE (m/f/d) you will take responsibility for the development of data models and processes from our entire range of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimise data models, databases and data systems for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform and load data from various sources.
• Development of testing and validation strategies to ensure data quality with associated measures
• Implement dashboards and automated reports
• Ensure high data quality and efficient organisation of databases.
• Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to understand their data requirements and provide technical support.

Requirements

• Above-average degree in an analytically-oriented field of study, e.g. economics, business informatics or statistics
• At least two years of practical experience in data modelling, database development and data integration
• Programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with database concepts and technologies for data warehousing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services
• Knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, Clarisights.
• Analytical mindset, problem solving skills and ability to understand complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to continuously learn and explore new technologies and tools
• Fluent in the English language
