Senior Game Mathematician

About the role

Design and develop mathematical models for new slot games, including pay tables, reel strips, bonus features, and progression systems.
Perform in-depth statistical analysis and simulations to evaluate game performance (RTP, volatility, hit frequency, etc.).
Optimize mathematical models to achieve the right balance between entertainment and profitability.
Collaborate closely with game designers, product managers, and developers to ensure seamless integration of math models into the final product.
Provide detailed mathematical documentation to support the design and development process.
Validate and verify game implementation to ensure accuracy of mathematical models.
Keep up to date with trends and innovations in slot game mechanics and market demands.

2+ years of experience as a Game Mathematician in the slots or casino gaming industry.
Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, and combinatorics.
Proven experience in designing successful slot games (with a portfolio or references).
Proficiency in using mathematical/statistical tools (Excel, Python, R, or similar).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to explain complex math concepts to non-mathematical stakeholders.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
