Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
The primary function of this role is to assist the Human Resources Manager in the development, management, and administration of Human Resources functions, policies, and procedures for the Company.
This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment with a focus towards administration, compliance, analysis, and customer service. It may require travel to the Branch Offices.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

- Assist with Applicant Tracking System.
- Assist in posting open positions and maintain current on job postings.
- Oversee full recruiting and onboarding process for all company locations.
- Work with new hires on timely completion of all paperwork.
- Consult on employee benefits as needed.
- Complete E-Verify and I-9 paperwork.
- Complete new hire checklist for payroll.
- Send new user requests for all new hires and Companywide for employees needing email.
- Assist with job descriptions and advertise for all jobs with the assistant of the Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Work with staffing agencies to disperse jobs accordingly to meet recruiting needs.
- Schedule interviews and conduct follow up.
- Conduct phone / in-person interviews.
- Maintain updates on HR report with Human Resources Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Maintain updates to the Affirmative Action Plan Community Outreach spreadsheet and assist Human Resources Manager with Affirmative Action Plan yearly.
- Backup to Human Resources Manager for FMLA, LOA, STD and LTD.
- Maintain referral program spreadsheet and special payroll requests accordingly.
- Backup to Human Resources Manager for tuition reimbursement.
- Administer open enrollment with the Human Resources Manager and Payroll Dept.
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with Employee Handbook revision ideas and special projects concerning all employees.
- Send out and track performance evaluation forms on a regular, monthly basis and maintain updates to HR report.
- Work with the Human Resources Coordinator overseeing the internship program.
- Assists in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs.
- Responds to employee inquires regarding Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assists with employee relations initiatives.
- Coordinate training seminars with the HR team.
- Backup to the Human Resources Coordinator in the poster guard system making sure all Federal and State posters are current at all locations.
- Assist Human Resources Manager in wage compensation research.
- Assist Human Resources Coordinator and/or Talent Acquisition Specialist with attending career fairs.
- Travel to branch offices when necessary.
- Assist in arranging travel for interviews when needed.

Education / Work Experience:
- High school Diploma or GED is required.
- 4+ years’ experience in a Human Resources role is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations is required.
- Experience in HR policies and procedures is required.
- Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations is required.
- Sound and confident judgement and problem-solving skills are required.
- Confidence in presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- HRIS experience required.
- FMLA experience required.
- Benefits administration required.
- Recruitment experience required.
- Experience with a company org
