Your Career

Embark on a dynamic role as a Senior Manager, Software Development in Test with the Prisma Cloud QA team, where you'll spearhead testing initiatives for security-centric software and actively participate in product design. Take the lead in crafting a robust testing strategy for a comprehensive feature, ensuring compliance with stringent security standards. Collaborate closely with development teams to elevate product quality. This role also offers the chance to expand your expertise by overseeing security testing processes, mentoring team members, and making meaningful contributions to the organization's overarching cybersecurity posture.

Your Impact

• Manages quality within the team and actively resolves issues

• Directs the team in quality process and identifies significant opportunities for improvement

• Oversees a larger number of concurrent projects, with a strong ability to deliver features/test plans while focusing on top priority items

• Manages and guides other managers

• Performs skip level 1:1's as appropriate

• Owns and delivers critical, complex projects

• Trains and leads the team in proper use of tools and processes and identifies significant and impactful opportunities for improvement

• Determines relative priority between area features

• Overseas technical leads designing complex inter-team features

• Identifies and removes roadblocks and has major organizational impact

• Works closely with managers to ensure clarity and delivery, and regular interacts with senior leadership to clarify understanding

• Identifies initiatives that are needed and coordinates those across teams

• Actively applies customer use cases, problems and considerations in work

• Leads hiring efforts

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 15+ years experience in Enterprise Software Testing and Automation

• Proficient in programming, e.g. Python, Java

• Proven track record in leading product testing for distributed systems and SaaS products

• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects, requiring significant cross-team collaboration for successful completion

• Exceptional emotional intelligence, fostering strong connections with team members

•  Skilled presenter, adept at communicating internally within engineering and externally with various company groups

•  Robust technical skills encompass troubleshooting, test tooling, and test automation

• Exceptional test design skills tailored for complex systems Outstanding collaborative skills and recognized as a great team player

•  Experience in working with backend and frontend test framework/tools, driving continuous improvements

• Effective communication skills, fluent in both verbal and written English
