Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Internal Controls, Quality, and Exceptions Operations. This role will oversee the management of internal controls, quality assurance, and exceptions handling across enterprise, SMB, and consumer servicing programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal controls and quality management, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and driving organizational change. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of controls and quality measures that enhance our service experience and meet regulatory requirements.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal controls and quality management strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives, regulatory requirements, and change readiness goals. 

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for internal controls, quality assurance, and exceptions supporting across enterprise, SMB, and consumer servicing programs. 

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple, concurrent initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify control and quality requirements, develop project plans, and ensure alignment with business priorities. 

  • Monitor and report on progress, risks, and issues, providing regular updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders. 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the internal controls and quality management office. 

  • Strength and deepen model of collaboration and partnership with second line of defense and third line of defense teams within PayPal, and external regulators as necessary. 

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, staying current with changes in regulations and implementing necessary adjustments.
