Purpose

The CNS Dean’s Office is seeking a detail-oriented, organized and hard-working part-time student associate to provide an enhanced customer service experience to a diverse population of stakeholders of the College of Natural Sciences. This position is ideal for a student seeking practical hands-on customer service experience in a professional, team-oriented environment. To advance our core mission of fostering wellness, belonging, and success for all students.

Responsibilities

• This position assists with on-site front desk management including student appointment check-ins and multi-line phone communication
• Virtual office hours, projects to support staff, long-term organizational projects, general office maintenance, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

The position requires 10-19 hours/week during standard office hours and a set, weekly schedule. This position is open to CNS students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. This appointment is for spring semester 2026 with the potential to renew in the following semester. Ideally the candidate will continue work through semesters.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Some experience in administrative or office work, basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and proper telephone etiquette.

Salary Range

$10.50
