Program Management is the intersection of skills needed to successfully navigate business programs, product development, and project management. The Consumer Program Management team works with Consumer Business leadership to manage and optimize our portfolio of products, performing product strategy planning, go-to-market planning, and project management. Individuals will analyze current processes, identify opportunities, and drive products and partners towards the ideal client experience while managing profitability and alignment to enterprise goals.The Program Management Analyst performs three key functions—Program Development, Program Management, and Research & Analysis
Responsibilities:
- Program Management is the intersection of strategy, product development, and execution. The Consumer Program Management team partners with Consumer Bank business leadership to design, launch, and scale products and initiatives that drive growth, profitability, and long-term business value.
- The Associate Program Manager is expected to translate ideas into executable programs, manage cross-functional execution, and be accountable for both topline and bottom-line results across their owned programs.
- This role prioritizes individuals who are comfortable with ambiguity, capable of thinking through downstream implications of decisions, and able to operate with increasing autonomy while influencing stakeholders across product, technology, operations, sales, and marketing.
Program Management
- Own multiple business programs end-to-end, with accountability for both growth and profitability
- Own program success metrics, reporting, and performance tracking
- Manage cross-functional workstreams across Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Risk, and Compliance
- Drive execution against program goals, timelines, and financial targets
- Identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early and proactively manage them
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across the organization
- Regularly communicate program status, performance, and decisions to leadership
Program Development
- Play an active role in creating programs, not just executing them.
- Translate strategic ideas and concepts into actionable programs with clear goals, scope, and milestones
- Operate effectively in ambiguous environments, turning incomplete or evolving information into structured plans
- Anticipate downstream implications of new ideas, including operational complexity, financial impact, and client experience considerations
- Design and implement reporting frameworks for new and existing programs, including KPI definition and performance tracking
- Iterate on programs post-launch based on results, feedback, and changing priorities
Research, Analysis, and Recommendations
- Independently develop informed points of view and influence decision-making.
- Conduct market and competitive research; quickly develop expertise on new topics or domains
- Form substantiated opinions based on research, data, and business context
- Develop recommendations and present new ideas to senior leadership
- Build and maintain Excel models to evaluate program performance, forecast outcomes, and assess trade-offs
- Identify patterns and trends in data, understand underlying drivers, and translate insights into action
Executive Communication & Subject-Matter Expertise
- Develop executive-level presentations that clearly communicate strategy, progress, and results
- Confidently present findings, recommendations, and program updates to senior leaders
- Dive deep into assigned focus areas and quickly become a subject matter expert
- Serve as a go-to resource for others on program mechanics, performance drivers, and strategic implications
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in program management, project management, consulting, product operations, or related roles
- Demonstrated ability to independently own and drive programs
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency required
