Registered Veterinary Technician - Emergency Swing-Shift

VCA Encina Veterinary Medical Center is searching for an experienced RVT to work in our emergency department for the swing shift.  The applicant should have emergency and anesthesia experience, but we are willing to train the right applicant with some experience in a general practice setting.

SUMMARY:

The job of a Registered Veterinary Technician is an essential part of patient care at Encina/East Bay.  They are relied upon heavily to provide outstanding patient care in all departments including Outpatient, ICU, Surgery, and Emergency.  The RVTs must work hand in hand with the Veterinarians to complete treatment plans for the patients in our care quickly and efficiently. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnostics
• Patient Care
• Anesthesia/Surgery
• Leadership
